We are bad parents.....

Brady has had a runny nose, which I attributed to him possibly cutting teeth....as that has been the pattern for he and Hayden when cutting a new tooth! So I have been checking his upper gums as they appeared a little red to me.

No luck so far.....

Then Saturday, after eating breakfast I was standing behind him as he was in the highchair, and I was attempting to clean him up.......when I caught sight of something white in his mouth......to my amazement, he had cut a tooth on the bottom.....not only that he is cutting BOTH teeth on bottom at the same time and they are thru the skin!!!!!

So now Brady has six teeth!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Snow In Alabama...No Way!!!!

Well believe it or not, it's snowing here. The morning when we awoke, there was to be snow on the ground.....much to my disappointment, there was NOTHING!!! As usual, the weathermen are wrong!!!But for about an hour now, it has been snowing AND much to our surprise, it's sticking. It's suppose to continue snowing throughout the day.....who knows, maybe we will get the 3" they predicted!!

Dishwasher...

Yea, we are getting a new dishwasher today! That was our Christmas from the Craycrafts.........and after "shopping" it, we are getting exactly what we wanted!!!!!

Amazing how appliances are what makes us happy now!!!!!!!!!

(I would take a dishwasher over jewelry anyday.....it keeps me from BEING the dishwasher!)

My Birthday......

I turned 33 on Friday.........what a year!!! Where do I begin...this past year has been amazing. I honestly have nothing to complain about, I have my health, a job, a roof over my head, I'm married to an incredible man who happens to also be a dear friend, and I have two boys that are the light of my life!!!!!

I have realized several things about myself in this past year.......first, that kids may keep you young, but they also age you about 10 years the first year....second, money is DEFINIATELY not everything and that my family and time with them has become my number one on list of priorities........third, GOD IS SO GOOD, I knew this already, but with kids, I realize it more and more every day.........fourth, that last 10 pounds from childbirth IS really hard to get rid of......fifth, it's GREAT to be a blonde, even if I have gray hairs, I haven't noticed.......sixth, BOYS are way more "into things" than girls......seventh, if you only have one child, then no, you don't understand.........eighth, pray for your children daily, and pray for wisdom for you and your husband daily.................ninth, thank God daily for your spouse, even if you are mad at them.........tenth, thank God for relatives, especially those that are watching my kids..........................and eleventh, thank GOD FOR GRANDPARENTS who can just laugh at our moments of melting down because of our kids; they are now having ALL of their prayers answered, by God re-paying us for everything we ever did!!!!

My most precious birthday gift from Rhonda and Kimberly.....................they, while watching the boys on Wednesday, allowed Brady and Hayden to make me a birthday cake..............and during this process took pictures. They had left for me on Thursday, an album with photos, a picture from the cake bake framed and enlarged and the actual birthday cake. I will add photos....I'm having to have them bring their camera tomorrow so I can download them........stay tuned for them!

A Blurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr...

WOW, what can I say....................the holidays have been an absolute whirlwind and my blog has been completely neglected!!! I have several pictures to share, that I will add tonight.........hopefully! We took off to West Virginia on Friday the 21st of December and stayed until December 31...........then stopped in at Bart, Abby and Cecilia's on the 31 and spent the night. Since then, we went to Mom and Dad's in Marion this past weekend in order to do Christmas with them and Bart, Abby & Cecilia.

Being with both families was wonderful....the boys are spoiled.......but Tony and I are exhausted. With little ones, they really get off schedule, (and so do we as the parents as we go to bed when they do) when away from home..............but luckily the last couple of nights they have slept really well. Hope this is a trend that continues!!!

I can't believe it was the boys first Christmas.......they didn't really get the full concept of it and didn't really unwrap their gifts..............HOWEVER, they have certainly enjoyed playing with the new gifts!

Now it's time to start preparing for their first birthday as it is right around the corner!

PS Hayden is cutting his two upper front teeth!!!!! Let the biting games begin!
